Overview: acksonville's BAKER ACT formed in mid-2005 and has already gone through its share of band members. The slot of bassist has been filled, refilled and filled again for a total of 3 times. Guitarists have been frightened off, or asked to leave due to directional conflicts. And a share of events prior to a first real rehersal lead to the possibility of the group never forming. All that makes for a rocky start, which in turn has lead into a fierce plunge forward. The members and combinations have clicked and locked, song development coming with ease, gigs are being played, requests for bookings have doubled, and interest of labels have heightened. BAKER ACT is raw and in your face. The "We Don't Give a Damn" attitudes shine through in performances done soley for the purpose of motivating fans to drink, get crazy, rip their clothes off and join in on the "Who Cares?" mentality.
